i-Educate - vocational learning through technology

An exciting new EU-funded project has been launched to promote e-learning technologies to vocational educators and trainers.  To celebrate this a small event will be held in Coventry on December 2nd.

Join the team at the Innovation Village in Coventry to find out more about the project, and hear speakers talk about vocational learners in the 21^st Century, e-learning technologies, and what’s coming on the horizon for education.

I-Educate is a 2 year transnational project with partners in Sweden, Germany, Bulgaria, Hungary, and the UK.  The partnership will be offering vocational education and training professionals (VETPROs) across Europe the opportunity to receive free training, experience developing e-learning through a virtual teacher training island, live training courses and workshops, an e-learning qualification, and an interactive Web 2.0 application.  It’s an exciting time for vocational learning and for technology, and the project aims to brings the two together to exploit the benefits.
