eLN webinar: Using video to transform workplace culture

Michael Ditchburn, May 10, 2019

Culture change is among the most difficult topics when it comes to business transformation and corporate learning. Video Arts client East of England Co-Op wanted to transform their management culture and needed help to do so. Around 80% of their managers have been promoted from junior roles and, whilst their functional skills were good, they felt they needed more support from the business to help them develop the core leadership skills that they required to be fully effective in their role. An additional challenge was that the programme had to be cost-effective and work across all levels of leadership, from first-time managers to senior leaders.

The East of England Co-op partnered with eLN Industry Partner Video Arts to create a solution to this challenge. In this webinar Stephen Flurrie of the East of England Co-op, talks about how they tackled the brief with the help of Video Arts and what the results were.

In this session, you’ll learn:
• How the Co-op came to decide that video was an ideal solution
• How they identified how to use video most effectively
• The resulting impact on their management culture
• The lessons they can share

Stephen Flurrie is Head of L&D at the East of England Co-op. His team won the Training Journal ‘L&D team of the year’ gold award in 2017 and a silver in 2018 for their apprenticeship programme.
