eLN Webinar: Comparing apples with apples – how to get great responses to your Request for Proposal with eLN Industry Partner, Walkgrove

24th January, 2019

Identifying your ideal training developer can be challenging, particularly if you’re new to the world of online learning. A quick online search will show hundreds of potential suppliers jostling for your attention and business. How can you identify the right organisation for the job—one whose strengths will complement yours, and will deliver the results that you need?

By putting out a Request for Proposal (RfP), you have an opportunity to get potential suppliers to come to you with their solutions. But if your RfP doesn’t include the right details and ask the right questions, you might find that one organisation offers a high-spec solution with a price to match, while another suggests a cost-effective but pedestrian design—even though your ideal is somewhere in the middle. Which is a better supplier for you? When you’re comparing apples with oranges, it’s almost impossible to judge.

Writing a great RfP will ensure an even playing field for evaluation, and help you identify the solution you need.

In this session, you’ll learn:

• What you need to think about and who you need to consult before you start to write your RfP
• What potential suppliers need to know to provide an effective solution
• How to structure your RfP for completeness and clarity
• How to evaluate the responses fairly
